Step One: The identification of the brain problem through NeuroEval™ and NeuroCodeX®. NeuroEval™ collects data from the brain via neuro-imaging techniques and cognitive abilities testing. The NeuroCodeX® analyzes the data collected and summarizes potential areas of the brain that effect both the thinking and impulsive systems that contribute to failures in recovery. Based on the identification of the problem/s NeuroCodeX® recommends solutions that aid recovery.
Step Two: NeuroCoach® offers solutions based on NeuroCodeX® Report of Findings. The individualized programs target specific areas of the brain that are in need of remediation, support, or development.
The BrainRecovery™ Programs are cognitive rehabilitation techniques (CRT) that focus on individuals who have lost cognitive function due to medication effects, substance abuse, depression or traumatic brain injury.
Our Addiction Recovery model is based upon Alcohol and Other Drugs Abuse (AOD) dual-process theories. Simply put, the AOD dual-process proposes addictive behavior is determined by the failure of interactions between 2 different brain systems – The Reflective (thinking) System and The Reflexive (impulsive) System.
Our Traumatic Brain Injury program targets areas of the brain that have been adversely affected due to injury or trauma from sports related head injuries to car/motocycle/bicycle accidents.
